DIY Vintage Foam Stamps – learn how to easily make your own stamps using your favorite images, that can be used on so many of your creative projects!
Making your own stamps when there are so many options available in craft stores might not be something to even consider at a first glimpse. But when you love DIY projects in general, new worlds just open up for you and your mind starts to see things in a different way. A more creative way that will make you wanna try new and new ideas. You can make a basic set of DIY Vintage Foam Stamps to always have around and use when creativity strikes or use more specific images or shapes to create specific stamps for specific projects. Furthermore, let’s not forget that stamps can get quite pricey sometimes, so the idea of making your own is somehow starting to feel more and more appealing.
I love listening to a podcast or to some my favorite songs while making a DIY project, and this time it was my Jazzy Lounge playlist from Spotify that kept me accompanied. I’m pretty much obsessed with the songs I added to this list (some jazzy tunes, a little bit of lounge and some chic French music vibes) and I basically shuffle and listen to them several times a day. I do that sometimes when finding something that I really love, especially when it comes to music (but now that I think about it, I might do that with other things too) – I just obsess over and listen the same songs for days, weeks (or even months), over and over again … until one specific moment in time when I just can’t stand them anymore :) Sounds familiar? Anyone? :)
This particular playlist does such a great job in lifting my mood and giving me an overall great creative vibe! At least for now … we’ll see what happens in a while :)
How to make DIY Vintage Foam Stamps
Even though the process of making the DIY Vintage Foam Stamps is quite easy, it will take a little bit of your time. But it’s OK if that happens sometimes, because we can use this time to also unwind and decompress – all while doing something creative. And when you’ll see the final results and you’ll realize you can do so many things with these beauties, I’m pretty sure you will agree it was time well spent.
Again, I used some beautiful images from The Graphics Fairy to create this set of stamps and I had so much fun while choosing the images to use. I decided to go with a few basic images, if you wish, ones that can be easily used on different projects. I’m calling the DIY Vintage Foam Stamps my basic magic set that it’s good to always have around :) But I’m also contemplating the idea of making a few other more!

Sorry, but I can not find how you made these foam stamps in your article. I only can guess, that you took some foam sheet traced the image on it, cut it out and glued it to a wooden piece that is big enough for the piece. What kind of glue? How did you trace the image? Wher to get the wooden pieces? So many questions unanswered.
