DIY Vintage French Rose Notepads – learn how to easily make your own notepads using this gorgeous French rose collage with a vintage frame as your cover! Learn a cool trick on how to make the interior pages tearable, just like regular notepads!
Hello creative friends! Today I have a really special treat for you, I will be showing you how to make these amazing DIY Vintage French Rose Notepads in three different sizes! I know I usually get quite excited while sharing a new project because I’m loving everything that I do, but this one is definitely one of my favorites! My DIY Notepads are vibrant, they have a vintage and Shabby Chic style and are simply charming! They are small enough to carry in your purse or gift to friends, not to mention they make the perfect inserts for your art or junk journals, even your planners!

The red roses image from The Graphics Fairy that I have used to create the design is absolutely gorgeous! It just feels like a highly concentrated summer day that you can encapsulate and carry with you like a precious memory! I love every single detail of my design and I’m hoping you will love it too! :)
For the interior of these DIY Notepads I’ve imagined something that would complement the covers, but I wanted to also give you the chance to get creative on your own terms! So I’ve used the same beautiful vintage border but left the pages white! Of course, you can keep the inserts white if you choose so, but if you want to further embellish them, you can use distress inks, your own DIY Spray Inks, avocado dyes, watercolors, coffee or tea stain, just choose your favorites! You can even stamp them if you want!
If you want to make different inserts, this project could also give you the possibility of (finally) using your laaaaarge stashes of scrap paper that you’ve been saving for a while! :) Just cut everything to size and use the same technique to create the inserts on your DIY Notepads.
cardstock paper | regular printing paper | laserjet printer | mini distress inks | blending tool | scissors or paper trimmer | binder clips | craft glue with a tip | ruler and bone folder (optional) | double sided tape
mini gold bookmarks | stamps with flowers, leaves, branches, butterflies and feathers
love these flower and plants stamps too!
I will also show you a cool trick on how to make the interior pages tearable, just like regular notepads have! It’s such an easy technique that can be applied to create tons of DIY Notepads similar to mine or personalized as you want!
