Functionality and aesthetics perfectly combined into some beautifully painted and distressed Antique French Hat Boxes, perfect for decorating any spaces in your home
Hello, friends! Ever wanted to decorate some beautiful hat boxes and then use them in your home for decorative purposes but also for the storage solution they offer?
If the answer is YES, you’ve come to the right place! :) Today I’ll show you how to make some beautiful Antique French Hat Boxes!
I’m trying a new technique with this project, because I was afraid that the painting & distressing technique I’m usually using for my projects won’t work here, making the lid impossible to open. So I used a dry brushing technique instead, just to make sure I would be able to perfectly combine functionality and good looks.
I’m sharing the complete project on The Graphics Fairy, with tons of pictures and step by step instructions for the whole process.
I’l show you a simple technique of painting and distressing the Antique French Hat Boxes so you’ll be able to create your own pieces of French art … distressed in your own terms! :)
The possibilities are endless when integrating these into your home decor, I’m sure you’ll be able to find them a place in no time! :)
