Learn how to make these beautiful Hydrangea and Lavender vintage tags with torn edges using one secret ingredient and integrate them into your home decor or use them to embellish unique gifts
Hello, friends! I’m back with another super easy but super chic DIY project and I’m sharing 2 amazing free printables!
Today I’m showing you my all time favorite method of creating some vintage looking torn edges on paper, using a special technique that involves one secret ingredient!
The secret ingredient is highly used on our daily lives and it’s one of those ingredients that we just … couldn’t live without! And I mean that literally! ;)
Because the secret ingredient that I’m using for today’s project is … water! :)
I’ll be sharing the detailed tutorials with step by step pictures and instructions on The Graphics Fairy, as part of our collaboration, so that you can make THE perfect torn edges every time! This is my foolproof method, if you wish, and I’ll show you how to get that perfectly imperfect torn vintage look on paper.
Hydrangea and Lavender vintage tags with torn edges
As for the printables, I created them … having summer in mind! I love hydrangeas and lavender and I sometimes imagine a garden filled with these two! We have a few lavender bushes in our garden, that I absolutely adore, but I haven’t had any luck with growing hydrangeas so far. But I’m hopefully getting there … one day :)
I’m also sharing a few ideas on how you can easily use the Hydrangea and Lavender vintage tags with torn edges, but I’m sure you will find your own ways of integrating these beauties into your life.

These are so beautiful!

Glad you like them, Mary Beth!
I’m pretty happy with how they turned out, too :)
Shay
These are just so beautiful. I am in love. Is there anyway to enlarge them enough to use as a greeting card? (I’m not a digital native and I couldn’t seem to figure out a way to do it)
Diana / Dreams Factory
Happy you like them, Shay!
These images were specifically designed in Photoshop for this project.
Once the images are saved using a specific size, it’s not advisable to enlarge them, because they will considerably loose their quality.
If you want, you can search for ‘hydrangeas’ on The Graphics Fairy to find and use the original larger images.
Kippi
Lovely tags I am going to try it out. Thank you

Have fun using them, Kippi!
