I love your idea of using some faux lavender with one of these ... you can never (ever) have too much lavender around :)
I’m quite obsessed with lavender myself and I usually add a few drops of lavender essential oils on faux (or dried) plants, to give them a more realistic feel. And the house smells amazing, so it’s a win-win situation! :)

You can make them in no time - especially the painting part - because the paint dries almost instantly, when you apply it.
You will have to be patient for the Mod Podge to dry when adding the labels (and for the sealer to dry, if you are using).
