Learn how to make these DIY Salt Dough Rose Tags from scratch mixing up a few ingredients that you already have around! Use them for adding chic & delicate touches to different objects in your home decor or use them as tags when wrapping gifts for family and friends!

Hello friends, are you ready for another beautiful DIY project? You will only need a few ingredients that I’m pretty sure you already have around, so you basically have no excuse to make these super chic DIY Salt Dought Rose Tags … right now! :) Putting your creativity to work has never been easier! Are you familiar with salt dough ornaments? I’ve seen them popping all over my Pinterest, especially during Christmas, but I have to confess I haven’t tried them before. This was actually my first time using salt dough in a project, I still can’t believe I only used salt, flour and water  to create the delicate base for these DIY Salt Dought Rose Tags! The truth is I’m pretty amazed by how these ornament tags turned out, I’m really really REALLY happy when I get to use such inexpensive ingredients and manage to create something so beautiful! DIY Salt Dough Rose Tags And I’m sure you’ve already guessed it, the stunning Shabby Chic roses that I’m using today to decorate my salt dough tags are … (drum roll please) … from The Graphics Fairy! ♥ As always! :)DIY Salt Dough Rose Tags What I really love about these super-amazing-and-easy-to-make DIY Salt Dough Rose Tags? Their (somehow) irregular shapes! After all, these are handmade items, they are supposed to have imperfections! Maybe that sounds a little bit odd, but I feel that we NEED things that are not perfect in our lives! We NEED to learn how to embrace these small imperfections as part of the whole living-learning-and accepting process, whether we are talking about things or objects … or are taking things one step further … and extend that to people. We are somehow ‘forced’ nowadays to live in a world when everything ‘needs’ to be perfect, especially on social media, where people are mostly sharing their perfect ‘moments’ with the world. I feel this tendency is getting a little bit out of hand and we are losing the ‘normality’ and the reality of life. People are starting to fake the perfect moments in their lives only to have something to share on social media … but they are mostly sad (and lonely) behind their screens and are gradually loosing THEIR authenticity and uniqueness along the way. So to keep things REAL in our lives, I guess it’s all about learning how to deal with and accepting the small imperfections life throws at us on a regular basis, right? :)

P.S. I really love this Can We Auto-Correct Humanity? video from Prince Ea about spending more time unplugged and connecting to real life!DIY Salt Dough Rose Tags DIY Salt Dough Rose Tags OK …back to today’s project! ;)DIY Salt Dough Rose Tags
