Hello, friends! I still can’t believe how rapidly these past few months have gone, but I’m really happy spring is FINALLY deciding to show up. It was a way too cold and way too long winter if you ask me, I’m SO ready to put away all the socks and the sweaters and just embrace the new vibe spring usually brings :)
And to make sure we are properly welcoming mother nature’s warming up, I thought it would be fun to make some DIY Aged French Pots today! These would be a great addition to your home decor and will bring an instant feel of freshness when used with flowers, herbs or any other plants. Not to mention the instant feel of chicness ;)
What makes this project great:
- The dry brushing technique that I will be showing you – a unique (and cool) way of painting, creating texture and adding depth to regular terracotta pots – one that gives you room for exploring and exercising your creative talents (or genes)
- The chic French Ephemera labels – that I created for this project – that sort of complement and complete the whole ‘aged look’ idea.
I only used a small amount of paint and only a few other ‘ingredients’ for this DIY Aged French Terracotta Pots project, you will love how easy this is to make!
I’ll be sharing the whole process, with step by step pictures and detailed instructions, notes and tips – and other stuff – on The Graphics Fairy, as part of our collaboration ♥ I will add the link at the end of this post in a sec.
I really really really love this project, I hope you’ll love it too! :)
And stay tuned for a few more posts these days, I have some super exciting news to share with you soon. And a million other projects that I can’t waaaait to show you! :)
