Learn how to make some beautiful DIY French Ephemera Fabric Labels – using the iron on transfer paper technique, perfect for chic decorating objects all around your home
I hope you guys love making labels as much as I do, because I have a lovely DIY project for you today. Some small yet sophisticated French Ephemera Fabric Labels, that will turn any plain object into a beautiful decorative piece.
The whole process is a little bit time consuming at first, but once you get used to the iron on transfers, things are rapidly moving into the right direction.
If done right, the iron on transfer paper technique provides a clean way of transferring an image to fabric, without using any special equipment. You will only need the iron on paper suitable for you inkjet or your laser printer and a regular iron!
I managed to successfully adhere the labels to 4 different surfaces and on several objects that had different textures.
The possibilities are endless when decorating with these beauties, the only problem you’ll have will be deciding on which object to use them on :)
A few glasses and jars, filled with the right ingredients will turn the French Ephemera Fabric labels into highly desirable presents for all kind of special occasions.
I’m sharing the whole process, with step by steps pictures and instructions on The Graphics Fairy, as part of our collaboration ♥
Don’t forget to smile,
